As the owner of The Cantina,
My role is to support the staff and inspire them to welcome each patron as a guest in our home. With a constant eye on improvement, we have added some unique side options that allow us to utilize the plethora of local farm offerings available in Western North Carolina. We are honored to be a part of Asheville and the unique enclave that is Historic Biltmore Village.
Receiving our Green Restaurant Certification as a part of the ‘most green restaurant city’ in the USA was challenging but rewarding.
Being stewards of our planet also means feeding everyone healthy and tasty meals, so in 2013 The Cantina launched a ‘give back’ to local food charities.
If you opt to donate one of your two sides offered with each entrée, The Cantina will donate that portion to a local food charity, the cash equivalent of one donated side can feed up to 6 of our neighbors in need.
